6 Inspection rules
6.1 Sampling
When sampling, refer to the provisions of GB 3186, i.e., (N - total
number of barrels, n - number of sample barrels), n ≥ 2, confirm the number
of sample barrels and randomly extract sample. The paint shall be stirred
even before sampling, and the same amount (obtained by calculation) is
taken from the sample barrel. After even mixing, put into the sample holding
container. There shall be 5% ~ 10% gap in the container. The batch number
of samples extracted shall not be less than 1 t, the number of samples
extracted not less than 10 kg.
6.2 Exit-factory inspection item
The exit-factory inspection items include the state in container, fineness,
drying time, adhesion, impact resistance, water resistance, resistance to
dampness and flame resistance time.
6.3 Type inspection item
The type inspection items are all technical items specified in Table 1. Type
inspection shall be performed in one of the following situations.
a) production for new product or old product produced in transferred plant;
b) significant changes in product structure, technique and raw material;
c) production resumed after discontinued production of more than one
year;
d) significant difference between exit-factory inspection results and
previous type inspection results;
e) normal production for 3 years or cumulated to 300 t.
6.4 Determination principle
6.4.1 Exit-factory inspection
The results of exit-factory inspection shall meet the technical requirements
specified in Table 1. Carry out the re-inspection twice via sampling from same
batch of samples for rejected inspection items. It shall only leave factory after
two re-inspections are accepted.
6.4.2 Type inspection
See Table 1 for defect classification of type inspection items. The qualification
determination principle for product quality is. A=0, B≤1, B+C≤2.
