GB 22757 “Energy consumption label for light-duty vehicles” is divided into 3
parts.
- Part 1. Gasoline and diesel vehicles;
- Part 2. For off-vehicle-chargeable hybrid electric vehicles and pure electric
vehicles;
- Part 3. Other single fuel vehicles except for gasoline and diesel vehicles.
This part is part 2 of GB 22757.
This part was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This part was proposed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology
of the People's Republic of China.
This part shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Automobile
Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 114).

Part 2. For off-vehicle-chargeable hybrid electric
vehicles and pure electric vehicles
1 Scope
This part of GB 22757 specifies the content, format, material and paste
requirements for energy consumption label for light-duty vehicles.
This part applies only to the category M1, M2 and N1 off-vehicle-chargeable
hybrid electric vehicles and pure electric vehicle having a maximum design
total mass of not more than 3500 kg.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 18386, GB/T 19596 and GB
22757.1 apply to this document.
7.1.3 or 7.2.4 of GB/T 19753-2013. The data shall be rounded off to one
decimal place.
5.2.4 Pure electric driving mileage refers to the pure electric driving mileage as
determined in accordance with the test method as specified in Appendix B of
GB/T 19753-2013. The data shall be rounded off to integer.
6 Label requirements
6.1 Functional area division
6.1.1 The label is composed of the four functional areas. “title area”,
“information area”, “description area”, and “additional information area”, as
shown in Figure A.1 and Figure A.2.
6.1.1.1 “Title area” is located at the top of the label, its left side is the
“enterprise logo” AND its right side is “label title”. The “label title” is the
“automobile energy consumption label”, corresponding to the English capital of
the “AUTOMOBILE ENERGY CONSUMPTION LABEL”, AND it is arranged
with the Chinese at upper part and English at lower part.
6.1.1.2 “Information area” is divided into two parts “automobile basic
information area” and “energy consumption information area”. The “automobile
basic information area” is located in the upper part of the information area.
AND the “energy consumption information area” is located at the lower part of
the information area, which is the core part of the label. The energy
consumption information is located at the upper part of the “energy
consumption information area”, AND the driving mileage information is located
at the lower part of the “energy consumption information area”.
6.1.1.2.1 The “vehicle model basic information” part of the pure electric vehicle
includes. the production enterprise, the vehicle model, the energy type, the
peak power of the driving motor, the overall vehicle mass, the maximum design
total mass, and the other information related to the energy consumption which
needs to be described by the enterprise. If there is no other information
available, it may delete the words “other information”. The “vehicle model basic
information” part of the off-vehicle-chargeable hybrid vehicle shall also include.
engine model, displacement, maximum engine net power, and transmission
type.
6.1.1.2.2 “Energy consumption information” includes.
a) For pure electric vehicles, it shall include the electrical energy
consumption under comprehensive conditions, converted energy
equivalent fuel consumption, and driving mileage;

Electrical energy consumption under comprehensive conditions. xx.x kW
• h/100 km
The energy consumption and the fuel consumption are converted in
accordance with the equivalent calorific value method. AND the energy
consumption of 1kW • h is about 0.113 L gasoline fuel consumption.
Note. off-vehicle-chargeable hybrid electric vehicles (diesel/electric), it shall be
described as. the energy consumption of 1kW • h is about 0.1003 L diesel fuel
consumption.
Due to such factors as driving habits, road conditions, climatic conditions, fuel
quality, and so on, the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption and
driving mileage may be different from the fuel consumption, energy
consumption and driving mileage as indicated in this label.
To avoid visualizing the field of view, remove the logo after purchasing the
vehicle.
6.1.2 The “additional information area” is located at the bottom of the label,
