Limit of Pathogen in Foods
1  Scope 
This Standard specifies the index, the limit requirements and test methods of pathogen in
foods.
This Standard is applicable to pre-packaged products.
This Standard is not applicable to canned foods.
2  Application principles 
2.1 Whether the limit of pathogen is specified, the food producers, processers and
operators shall all adopt the control measures, so as to minimize the content level of
pathogen in foods and reduce the likelihood of the risk from occurring.
2.2 After sampling according to GB 4789.1, it shall conduct the test in accordance with
the test methods in Table 1.
3  Indicator requirements 
See Table 1 for the limit of pathogen in foods.
