This Part is Part 1 of GB 7000.
This Part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
"Part 2 of GB 7000" appears many times in the text of this Part. Its connotation
is the specific luminaire standards in GB 7000 other than GB 7000.1.
This Part replaces GB 7000.1-2007 "Luminaires - Part 1: General requirements
and tests".
The main technical differences between this Part and GB 7000.1-2007 are as
follows:
1) ADD multiple reference standards (0.2).
2) Definitions
- ADD 16 definitions such as "impact withstand category" (1.2.76~1.2.91);
- ADD the requirement to state the protective conductor current (3.3.19);
- ADD information requirements for luminaires not mounted within arm’s
reach (3.3.20);
- ADD the requirements for instruction sheet of luminaires with non-
replaceable and non-user replaceable light source (3.3.21);
- ADD a requirement describing the classification of insulation between
the power supply of the controllable luminaires and the control
conductors (3.3.22).
5) Construction
- Modify and supplement the test bending moment value and compliance
check requirements of Edison screw lampholders (4.4.4);
