Foreword
GB/T 12467 "Metal material fusion welding quality requirements" is divided into five parts.
--- Part 1. Selection criteria for the corresponding level of quality requirements;
--- Part 2. Complete quality requirements;
--- Part 3. General quality requirements;
--- Part 4. Basic quality requirements;
--- Part 5. Standard documents to be based on the quality requirements.
This part is the third part of GB/T 12467.
This part is equivalent to ISO 3834-3.2005 "Metal material fusion welding quality requirements Part 3. General quality requirements" (English version).
This section is equivalent to translation ISO 3834-3.2005.
For ease of use, this section has made the following editorial changes.
--- Removed the preface to international standards;
--- Replace the ISO standard referenced in the ISO 3834-3.2005 "normative reference document" with the equivalent of our national standard.
This part replaces GB/T 12467.3-1998 "Welding quality requirements - Fusion welding of metallic materials - Part 3. General quality
begging".
The main changes in this section compared with GB/T 12467.3-1998 are as follows.
--- Cancel the conditions for providing a suitable framework for welding control within the scope of application;
--- "Contract review" and "design review" were revised to "required review" and "technical review";
--- Canceled Appendix A.
This part is proposed and managed by the National Welding Standardization Technical Committee.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions established in GB/T 12467.1 apply to this section.
4 GB/T 12467 use of this part
The general principles of application of this section can be found in the provisions of GB/T 12467.1.
When confirming whether the quality requirements specified in this section are met, the relevant standard requirements specified in GB/T 12467.5-2009 can be checked.
This section specifies the general quality requirements under normal conditions, but in some cases, the manufacturer may be based on specific product conditions and needs.
Seek selective exchange (such as GB/T 12467.4).
5 Request for review and technical review
5.1 General
The manufacturer shall review all design data in response to the contractual requirements and all other requirements.
Manufacturers should establish a mechanism to ensure that the information required for production operations is complete and feasible before the start of work.
When conducting requirements review and technical review, the manufacturer should focus on its ability to meet all requirements; all quality activities have
Appropriate plan; relevant documents are clear, accurate and non-controversial; have sufficient resources to ensure timely delivery. Manufacturer should guarantee contract and previous report
Changes between price documents are easily identifiable, allowing users to understand all the changes in procedures, costs, or engineering that may arise.
Typical amounts that should be considered at the time of the review (or before) are listed in 5.2. The main contents of the technical review are given in 5.3. Technical review
The review should be considered at the beginning of the plan.
5.2 Request for review
Aspects to consider include.
a) the product standards to be adopted and all additional requirements;
b) legal and regulatory requirements;
GB/T 12467.3-2009/ISO 3834-3.2005
c) all additional requirements determined by the manufacturer;
d) The ability of the manufacturer to meet specified requirements.
5.3 Technical Review
Technical requirements that should be considered include.
a) technical conditions of the base metal and properties of welded joints;
b) weld quality and acceptance requirements;
c) the location, accessibility and sequence of the weld, including the accessibility of the test and non-destructive testing;
d) welding procedure regulations, non-destructive testing procedures and heat treatment procedures;
e) methods used for welding process qualification;
f) recognition of personnel;
g) selection, identification and/or traceability (eg for materials, welds);
h) quality control management, including the involvement of an independent inspection agency;
i) testing and inspection;
j) subcontracting;
k) post-weld heat treatment;
l) Other welding requirements, such as ferrite content of weld metal, aging, hydrogen content, permanent liner, hammering, surface finishing, weld profile;
m) the use of special methods (such as single-sided welding without padding to obtain full penetration);
n) the size and details of the groove and weld;
o) the welding site of the weld;
p) environmental conditions relating to the application of the process (eg very low temperature conditions or any harmful climatic conditions where protection is necessary);
q) Management of non-conformities.
