Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 1676-1981 "plasticizer Determination of iodine value."
This standard and GB/T 1676-1981 no technical difference.
The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee rubber chemical additives and rubber Technical Committee.
This standard is drafted by. Hengyang solvent factory, Shanxi Institute of Chemical Engineering.
The main drafters of this standard. Anfang.
This standard replaces the standards previously issued as follows.
--- GB/T 1676-1979, GB/T 1676-1981.
Determination of iodine value plasticizer
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determination of the iodine value of the plasticizer.
This standard applies to the determination of the iodine value of the plasticizer.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Per 100g grams of iodine absorbed by the specimen, called iodine number.
4 Reagents and solutions
Unless otherwise indicated, the analysis uses only three water GB/T 6682 or equivalent as specified in the purity of water. Used in the analysis standard titration
Solutions, preparations and products did not indicate when the other requirements, according to GB/T 601, GB/T 603 provisions prepared.
Sodium bromide 4.1 [7647-15-6].
4.2 bromine [7726-95-6].
4.3 Methanol [67-56-1].
4.4 chloroform [67-66-3].
4.5 CTC [558-13-4].
4.6 potassium iodide [7758-02-3].
4.7 thiosulfate [7772-98-7] Standard Solution. Ba (Na2S2O3) = 0.1mol/L.
4.8 0.5% starch indicator.
4.9 0.1mol/methanol solution tribromo compound L. Take 76g of anhydrous sodium bromide (in an incubator maintained constant 130 ℃ 3H), dissolved in
1000mL methanol and 5.1mL bromine, stored in a brown reagent bottle. Mixing, over a day and night use.
5 Instruments
5.1 iodine bottle. 250mL.
5.2 Pipette. 25mL.
5.3 cylinder. 10mL, 15mL.
5.4 Basic Brown Buret. 50mL.
Step 6 Analysis
Weigh 0.6g ~ 1.2g sample (depending on the size of the iodine value) accurate to 0.0001g, moved 250mL iodometric flask,
10mL chloroform (or carbon tetrachloride) was dissolved. Pipette precise 25mL of methanol was added a solution of three bromine compounds, plugged stopper, and mix.
Keep in dark standing 20min (or vibration 5min), then added 15mL15% potassium iodide solution and 75mL water, 0.1mol/L thiosulfate
Sulfate standard titration solution titrated to a pale yellow. Add 1 to 2 drops of 0.5% starch indicator and continue titration until the blue color disappears. At the same time as the air
White test.
7 Results Calculation
An iodine value of mass fraction X1 and its value is expressed in%, according to equation (1).
X1 =
(Vp 1- Vp 2) N × 0.1269 × 100
(1)
Where.
Vp 1 --- titration Blank value volume consumed sodium thiosulfate standard titration solution, in milliliters (mL);
Vp 2 --- titration sample consumption volume numerical solution of sodium thiosulfate standard titration, in milliliters (mL);
Numerical N --- sodium thiosulfate standard titration solution molar concentration, measured in moles per liter (mol/L);
Numerical G --- sample mass, in grams (g);
--- The M values of the molar mass of iodine in grams per mole (g/mol) [M (I2) = 253.8].
8 allowable difference
Take two parallel determination results of the arithmetic average of the measurement results, calculation results are shown to two decimal places.
Iodine value allowable difference
10 0.15%
10 or less 0.05%
