the installation self-check fails, the corresponding unfinished installation operation shall
be displayed, and the abnormal self-check state signal of the recorder shall be output to
the vehicle.
b) Power-on self-check function: After the recorder is installed and self-checked normally,
each time the ignition switch (ACC) is turned on, the self-check of the positioning,
communication, memory and other modules and signal input state shall be carried out
first. If the power-on self-check fails, the corresponding abnormal information shall be
displayed, and the abnormal self-check state signal of the recorder shall be output to the
vehicle.
5.4.1.2 Data recording function
5.4.1.2.1 Driving state record
The recorder shall have the function of recording the driving state, and the driving state
recording shall meet the following requirements:
a) The recording contents include: real-time, real-time position information, corresponding
average driving speed (based on vehicle speed sensor or CAN signal) of each second
interval, reference speed (based on satellite positioning signal), and switch quantity
signal of the corresponding time during the driving process of the vehicle;
b) The time interval of recording is 1s;
c) The time for recording valid data records is no less than the last 168 unit-hours;
d) The speed recording unit is kilometers per hour (km/h), the measurement range is at least
0 km/h~220 km/h, and the resolution is no more than 1 km/h
5.4.1.2.2 Accident suspect point record
The recorder shall have the function of recording accident suspect points, and the accident
suspect point record shall meet the following requirements:
a) The record contents include: vehicle speed and switch quantity signal before 20s of the
end time of traveling, and position information at the end of driving; vehicle speed and
switch quantity signal within 20s before the power supply (including the backup battery)
power-off, and the position information at the power-off;
b) The recording time interval is 0.1s;
c) The number of records is no less than the latest 100;
d) The speed recording unit is kilometers per hour (km/h), the measurement range is at least
0 km/h~220 km/h, and the resolution is no more than 1 km/h.
5.4.1.2.3 Overtime driving record
The recorder shall have the function of overtime driving record, and the overtime driving record
shall meet the following requirements:
a) The record contents include: motor vehicle driver's license number, start time of
continuous driving and position information, end time of continuous driving and position
information;
b) The number of records is no less than the latest 50.
5.4.1.2.4 Driver information record
The recorder shall have the function of driver information recording, and the driver information
recording shall meet the following requirements:
a) Within 30s after the start time of travelling, record the corresponding picture of the driver's
facial features (obtained by video), motor vehicle driver's license number (obtained by
IC card), and driver's name (obtained by IC card);
b) The number of records is no less than the latest 100;
c) Time information needs to be superimposed on the driver's facial feature picture, and the
superimposed information does not affect the recognition of facial features.
5.4.1.2.5 Log record
The recorder shall have a log record function, and the number of records of various types of log
records shall be no less than the latest 100. The specific log records include:
a) External power supply log: Recorder’s log record of the power on and off;
b) Parameter setting log: Recorder’s log record of the setting and modification of relevant
parameters such as the motor vehicle plate number and plate classification;
c) Self-check log: Recorder’s log records related to the installation self-check and power-on
self-check;
d) Speed state log: Recorder’s log records of normality and abnormality based on the vehicle
speed sensor or CAN signal of the recorder;
NOTE: When the satellite positioning module works normally, the reference speed of the recorder
(speed based on the satellite positioning signal) is continuously greater than 40 km/h for 5 min:
when the difference (the difference between the recording speed and the reference speed divided
by the reference speed) between the recording speed (speed based on the vehicle speed sensor or
CAN signal) and the reference speed exceeds ±11%, the speed state is judged to be abnormal.
When the difference rate between the recording speed and the reference speed is within the range
5.4.1.4.2 IC card information identification communication
The recorder shall have the function of IC card information identification and communication,
which shall meet the following requirements:
a) The driver log...
