Caution - Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not indicate all possible security questions.
The user is responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring compliance with the relevant national regulations.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the use of formic acid/zinc chloride method to determine the removal of non-fibrous material of polyacrylonitrile fiber and some other fiber mixture
The method of medium fiber content.
This standard applies to a two-component mixture of polyacrylonitrile fibers and wool, other animal hair fibers, cotton, linen, ramie and polyester fibers.
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only dated versions apply to this article.
Pieces. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.
GB/T 2910.1 Textiles - Quantitative chemical analysis - Part 1. General rules
3 Principle
Dissolve the polyacrylonitrile fiber from a mixture of known dry mass with a formic acid/zinc chloride solution, collect the residue, wash and dry
And weighing, calculating the corrected mass as a percentage of the dry mass of the mixture. The mass percentage of polyacrylonitrile fibers is derived from the difference.
4 reagents
Use the reagents specified in GB/T 2910.1 and 4.1, 4.2 of this standard.
4.1 Formic acid/zinc chloride
20 g of anhydrous zinc chloride (mass fraction > 98%) and 68 g of anhydrous formic acid were taken and water was added to 100 g.
4.2 Dilute ammonia solution
Take 20 mL of concentrated ammonia water (density of 0.880 g/mL) and dilute to 1 L with water.
5 equipment
Use GB/T 2910.1 and the equipment specified in 5.1, 5.2 of this standard.
5.1 Stabilized flask. The capacity is not less than 250mL.
5.2 Constant Temperature Water Bath Oscillator. Maintain the temperature of the conical flask at (70 ± 2) °C.
6 test steps
According to the general procedure specified in GB/T 2910.1, prepare at least two samples, each sample is not less than 1g, and then follow the steps below.
Step operation.
The formic acid/zinc chloride solution (4.1) is taken in an amount of 150 mL of solution per gram of sample (4.1), and then added to the triangle.
In the flask, preheat to (70 ± 2) ° C, put the sample into the Erlenmeyer flask, cover the stopper, shake the Erlenmeyer flask to fully wet the sample,
The plate was shaken for 15 min on a constant temperature water bath shaker at (70 ± 2) °C. Filter with a glass sand core of known quality and use the remaining fiber with a small amount of the same temperature
The formic acid/zinc chloride solution (4.1) was washed 3 times, then washed 4 times to 5 times with 70 ° C water, and then neutralized with 100 mL of dilute aqueous ammonia solution (4.2).
Wash twice, and immerse the residue in the solution for 10min, then rinse with water. Grab the liquid before each wash and then pump the liquid. Finally, 坩
The crucible and residue are dried, cooled, and weighed.
7 Calculation and representation of results
The calculation and representation of the results are in accordance with GB/T 2910.1.
The d value of wool or other animal fibers is 1.01, the d value of cotton is 1.03, the d value of flax is 1.07, and the d value of ramie and polyester fiber.
Both are 1.00.
If the error of the measured results of the two samples is greater than 1%, the third sample shall be tested and the results are expressed as the average of the three results.
8 precision
For a homogeneous textile material mixture, the confidence limit for this standard test result does not exceed ±2% at 95% confidence level.
9 test report
The test report should include the following.
a) the standard number;
b) If special pretreatment is used to remove the slurry or finishing agent, it shall be specified;
c) the results of the determination of all or a single component of the mixture;
d) Note that the above results are based on.
1) percentage of net dry mass;
2) the mass percentage combined with the public regain rate;
3) the mass percentage including the specified moisture regain rate and the fiber loss rate in the pretreatment;
4) Includes mass percentages for nominal moisture regain and non-fibrous material removal rates.
