Foreword
SB/T 10794 consists of the following three parts.
- Part 1. Vocabulary;
- Part 2. Classification, requirements and test condition;
- Part 3. Beverage refrigerated display cabinets.
This Part is the second part of SB/T 10794. This Part shall be used together
with GB/T 21001.2-2007.
This Standard replaces SB 142~144-84 Freezer Types and Basic Parameters,
Freezer Technical Conditions and Freezer Test Method; and it refers to
technical principles of GB/T 21001 Refrigerated display cabinets (ISO 23953)
for re-arrangement and formulation.
Annex A and Annex B of this Part are normative.
This Part was proposed by China Ministry of Commerce.
This Part shall be under jurisdiction of Freezer Sub-technical Committee of
National Technical Committee on Refrigeration of Standardization

Commercial refrigerated cabinets - Part 2.
Classification, requirements and test condition
1 Scope
This Part of SB/T 10794 specifies the structure, characteristics and
performance requirements of commercial refrigerated cabinets for sales and
storage of food (hereinafter referred to as refrigerated cabinets), as well as test
conditions, test methods, classification methods, grading methods of
commercial refrigerated cabinets and product marks, product characteristics
information provided by manufacturer.
The application examples of refrigerated cabinets to which this Part is
applicable are.
- mainly applicable to non-domestic use refrigerated cabinets and kitchen
refrigerator;
- mainly applicable to refrigerated cabinets used in stores;
- cooling bench with refrigerator or freezer storage compartment;
- commercial refrigerated cabinets mainly used in stores, hotels and
restaurants, beverage refrigerated display cabinets;
- refrigerated cabinets of other special purposes.
This Part is not applicable to.
- refrigerated display cabinets for retail use (GB/T 21001);
- household refrigerators (GB/T 8059);
- cooling vending machines;
- rapid cooling machine (cabinet);
- fast freezer (cabinet);
- non-food freezer (e.g.. constant temperature chamber, ultra-low
temperature cabinets, medical freezer, blood freezer).

SB/T 10794.1-2012 Commercial refrigerated cabinets - Part 1. Vocabulary
resistance and sufficient hardness.
4.1.7.2 The outer wall surface flatness tolerance shall not exceed 3 mm/m.
Vertical tolerance between the outer wall must not exceed 0.2%, excluding the
back.
4.1.7.3 Coating surface shall be smooth and bright, in uniform color, without
significant flow of scars, pits, wrinkles, bubbles, missing coating, a collection of
sand and scratches or other defects.
4.1.7.4 Decorative coating of electroplating shall be smooth and fine, without
spots, pinhole bubbles and coating peelings.
4.1.7.5 Plastic surface shall be smooth, in uniform color, without cracks,
bubbles, significant shrinkage and deformation or other defects.
4.1.7.6 Labels and all signs shall be complete. Labels shall comply with the
requirements according to 7.2.
4.1.7.7 Freezer shall have power indicator.
4.1.8 Size
4.1.8.1 The deviation between freezer dimensions (length, width, height) and
the dimensions marked on the label must meet the following conditions.
the deviation between the actual measured value and the rated is within ±0.3%
rated ±3 mm.
4.1.8.2 Rated effective volume is represented by m3. The effective volume of
freezer is measured and calculated according to Annex A. Its value shall not be
less than the rated value.
4.1.8.3 For display freezer, when its total display area is measured according
to the provisions of GB/T 21001.2. its measured value shall not be less than the
rated value.
