Foreword
This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 10414.2-2002 Belt Drives – Synchronous Belt Drives –
Automotive Pulleys. Compared with GB/T 10414.2-2002, besides editorial
modifications, this Standard has the major technical differences as follows.
--- Add RU, YU model automotive synchronous belt and pulleys; specify the
corresponding technical parameters (see Clause 3 and 5.5).
This Standard adopts re-drafting method to modify and use ISO 9011.1997
Synchronous Belt Drives – Automotive Pulleys.
Compared with ISO 9011-1997, this Standard has more structural adjustment; the
Appendix A lists the clause number comparison list between this Standard and ISO
9011.1997.
The clauses involved the technical differences of this Standard from ISO 9011.1997
are marked by a single vertical line (|) in the margin as follows.
--- On normative references, this Standard made the adjustment as per the technical
differences, so that adapt to China’s technical conditions; the adjustment was
centrally reflected in Clause 2 “Normative References”; the specific adjustment
is as follows.
Use GB/T 11357 that adopts international standard to replace ISO 254
through modification;
Delete ISO 9010.1997.
--- Add the Marking Diagram for Geometric Tolerance of Pulleys (see Figure 10).
--- Add RU, YU model automotive synchronous belt and pulleys; specify the
corresponding technical parameters (see Clause 3 and 5.5).
This Standard makes the following editorial modifications.
--- Modify the standard name;
--- Adjust the pulley geometric tolerance order (see 6.5);
--- Modify the title of Clause 7 (see Clause 7).
This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee for
Standardization of Pulley and Belt (SAC/TC 428).

referred to as pulleys).
This Standard is applicable to the automotive synchronous belt drives2).
