Hardware fitting of case and bag - Test method for
durability of plastic buckle
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the principle, devices, test methods, results representation and
test report of the durability test for plastic buckle.
This Standard is applicable to the test of plastic buckles for case and bag, clothing.
2 Principle
Simulate the use of the specimen. Reciprocate opening-closing to the specified number
of times at a certain frequency. Check the quality of the plastic buckle.
3 Devices
3.1 Plastic buckle durability testing machine
It shall include the components specified in 3.1.1~3.1.3.
3.1.1 The test device (see Figure 1 for the schematic diagram) consists of two sets of
specimen holders on the left and right. The left specimen holder is used to secure the
upper part of the buckle. It can also periodically press the positioning piece of the buckle
(left and right position or upper position). The right specimen holder is used to fix the
lower part of the buckle. It also makes the lower part do reciprocating forward and
withdrawing motion. The left and right specimen holders cooperate with each other, so
that the upper and lower parts of the buckle do horizontal reciprocating opening-closing
movement, and the movement frequency is adjustable.
