Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T
1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 296-1994 Rolling bearings - Double row angular
contact ball bearings - Boundary dimensions. Compared with GB/T 296-1994,
the main technical changes are as follows.
- modified the scope (see Clause 1 of this Edition, Clause 1 of Edition
1994);
- added and modified some normative references (see Clause 2 of this
Edition, Clause 2 of Edition 1994);
- added “terms and definitions” “structure type” and “codes” (see Clause
3, Clause 5 and Clause 6 of this Edition);
- modified the name of “double row angular contact ball bearings with ball
gap” to “double row angular contact ball bearings with filling slot” (see
Clause 5 of this Edition, Clause 3 of Edition 1994);
- deleted double row angular contact ball bearing structure type of one
side with a dust cover and one side with a ring as well as its schematic
diagram (see Figure 3, Figure 5 of Edition 1994);
- added the specification of the maximum chamfer size (see Table 1,
Table 2 of this Edition);
- deleted the code of double row angular contact ball bearing structure
type of one side with a dust cover and one side with a ring as well as its
boundary dimensions (see Table 1, Table 2 of this Edition);
- modified bearing size range (see Table 1, Table 2 of this Edition, Table 1,
Table 2 of Edition 1994);
- deleted the code of 40 series double inner ring double row angular
contact ball bearings as well as its boundary dimensions (see Table 3 of
Edition 1994);
- deleted Annex “Comparison on new and old bearing codes” (see Annex
A of Edition 1994).
This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.
This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of National Technical Committee
on Rolling Bearings of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 98).
