Made Machine
1 Scope
This Standard stipulates the terms, definitions, working conditions, technical
requirements, various system performance requirements, safety requirements,
equipment interconnection and interoperability requirements, equipment reliability
requirements, equipment energy consumption requirements and environmental
protection requirements for li-ion battery made machine.
This Standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, inspection, acceptance
inspection, use and maintenance of li-ion battery made machine.

3.5 Jelly Roll Manufacturing System
Jelly roll manufacturing system refers to the sum constituted of a series of equipment
that complete the manufacture procedure from electrode to jelly roll.
NOTE: it includes electrode manufacturing machine, laminating machine and winding
machine, etc.
3.6 Cell Assembly System
Cell assembly system refers to the sum constituted of a series of equipment that
complete cell molding from li-ion battery jelly roll.
NOTE: it includes electrode connecting machine, punching machine, jelly roll casting
machine, cover plate welding machine, sealing machine, and composite special-
purpose equipment or production line constituted of the above processes and
equipment.
3.7 Dry and Filling System
Dry and filling system refers to the sum constituted of a series of equipment that dry
finished jelly roll and complete the filling of electrolyte.
NOTE: it includes jelly roll drying oven and filling machine, etc.
3.8 Formation and Grading System
Formation and grading system refers to the sum constituted of a series of equipment
that pre-charge, inspect and grade post-filling jelly roll, and determine the performance
of jelly roll.
NOTE: it includes activation equipment, jelly roll sorting machine and grading equipment,
etc.
3.9 Battery Module Assembly System
Battery module assembly system refers to the sum constituted of a series of equipment
that conduct module assembly, PACK assembly and performance testing of post-
formation and grading jelly roll.
NOTE 1: it includes module assembly equipment, PACK assembly equipment,
performance testing equipment and leakage testing equipment, etc.
NOTE 2: PACK assembly is a generic term for the procedure of assembling single li-ion
battery module through series-parallel connection into a whole during the li-ion
manufacturing process and the procedure of installing the outer shell.
3.10 Battery Recovery System
acceptance inspection should comply with the requirements in GB/T 23644-2009.
5.1.2 The equipment shall satisfy the principle of ergonomics; should comply with the
requirements in GB/T 14776-1993.
5.1.3 Operation signs and indicating symbols should comply with the requirements in
GB/T 3167-2015 and GB/T 3168-1993.
5.1.4 Plates shall comply with the requirements in GB/T 13306-2011.
5.1.5 Accompanying technical documents may refer to the requirements in JB/T 9875
and JB/T 9935.
5.1.6 The quality of equipment processing may refer to the requirements in JB/T 9872
and JB/T 9873. The quality of assembly may refer to the requirements in JB/T 9874.
5.1.7 The quality of appearance may refer to the requirements in GB/T 9061.
5.1.8 Inspection and acceptance inspection, idling test, load test and accuracy test
may refer to the requirements in GB/T 9061. If there are special requirements, they
shall be independently stipulated in specific equipment standards or user requirements.

3.5 Jelly Roll Manufacturing System
Jelly roll manufacturing system refers to the sum constituted of a series of equipment
