1 Scope
This Part specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
marking, packing, transportation and storage of non-woven of filters for air filter
(hereinafter referred to as non-woven).
This Part applies to non-woven of filter for air filter.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

hot forming presses filter media
non-woven filter media which are used for the hot forming process for the production
of air filter
3.2
non-hot forming presses filter media
non-woven filter media which are used for the non-hot forming process for the
production of air filter
3.3
precision filter media for commercial vehicle
non-woven filter media for air filter primary air element for commercial vehicle

4.2.4 Tolerance of dimensions
Tolerance of width of filter media is ± 1 mm. Drum diameter of filter media rolls is
specified to be Φ 600 mm, with a tolerance of ± 50 mm. Filter media rolls shall have
standard drum cores with an inner diameter of Φ 76 mm. Tolerance of thickness of
filter media is ± 1 m.
NOTE. Width and drum core diameter of filter media can also be as agreed in contracts.
5 Test methods
5.1 Standard atmospheric conditions for sample processing and test shall be as
specified in GB 6529.
5.2 Visual inspection is carried out for appearance inspection.
