3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions, as established in GB/T 19596, as well as the following terms
and definitions, apply to this standard.
3.1
Ultracapacitor electric city bus
An urban electric bus, that uses a supercapacitor as a power source or uses a
supercapacitor as a main power source, AND does not need power from the
overhead line network, when it is running away from the station.
3.2
Current collecting equipment
The device for supercapacitor electric city buses, to obtain electric energy from the
power supply bank (see QC/T 839-2010 for definition).
3.3
Electric power receiving board
When the vehicle is charging, the conductive plate of the current collecting
equipment that contacts with the power supply bank.
4 Models
The product model of a supercapacitor electric city bus is composed of the enterprise
name code, vehicle type code, main parameter code, product serial number, enterprise-
5 Requirements
5.1 Vehicle
The complete supercapacitor electric city bus shall meet the requirements of relevant
standards AND comply with the relevant national mandatory standards.
5.1.1 Environment.
Supercapacitor electric city buses shall be able to run normally, under natural conditions
which have an ambient temperature range of -25 °C ~ 45 °C.
5.1.2 Performance.
5.1.2.1 When tested according to the procedures specified in 6.3, the maximum speed
of the supercapacitor electric city bus shall not be less than 50 km/h.
5.1.2.2 Make the supercapacitors fully charged, according to the charging procedure
specified by the manufacturer. In this state, the vehicle accelerates from rest to 40 km/h;
the acceleration time is not more than 18 s.
5.1.2.3 When the supercapacitor electric city bus is tested, according to the method in
6.4, its full-load effective running distance is ≥ 5 km, meanwhile the average energy
consumption rate of a 12-meter bus is ≤ 1500 Wh/km. Other types of supercapacitor
electric city buses shall be implemented, according to this standard.
5.1.2.4 Supercapacitor electric city buses shall have the function of braking energy
recovery.
5.1.2.5 The maximum gradeability of supercapacitor electric city buses is ≥ 12%.
5.1.2.6 When the vehicle needs to stop for charging during the driving process, the inter-
station charging time of the supercapacitor electric city bus shall be ≤ 30 s.
5.1.2.7 When tested according to the method specified in 6.5, the supercapacitor electric
city bus's acceleration noise, outside the vehicle, shall meet the requirements of GB
1495.
5.1.3 Safety.
5.1.3.1 The insulation of supercapacitor electric city buses shall comply with the
provisions in 3.1.13 of CJ/T 5007-1993.
5.1.3.2 The electromagnetic interference of supercapacitor electric city buses shall
comply with the provisions of GB/T 18387-2008.
5.1.3.3 The output end of the supercapacitor energy storage system shall have a manual
or automatic disconnection device.
5.1.3.4 The supercapacitor energy storage system must have an obvious break point and
its mark for separating the components into two or more groups, so as to facilitate safe
maintenance.
5.1.3.5 The drive motor and its control system shall meet the requirements of GB/T
