Cold-rolled low-carbon steel sheet and strip
1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and code, order content,
dimensions, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules,
numerical rounding rules, packaging, marking, quality certificate (or inspection
document) of cold-rolled low-carbon steel sheets and strips (or inspection document).
This document applies to cold-rolled low-carbon steel sheets and strips (hereinafter
referred to as steel sheets and strips), which are produced by Benxi Steel.
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents constitute essential provisions of this
document, through normative references in the text. Among them, for dated references,
only the version corresponding to the date applies to this document; for undated
references, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.
GB/T 222 Permissible tolerances for chemical composition of steel products
GB/T 223 Methods for chemical analysis of iron, steel and alloy (Applicable part)
GB/T 228.1 Tensile test of metallic materials - Part 1.Tensile test method at room

9.4 Reinspection and judgment rules
9.4.1 The determination of steel sheets and strips shall comply with the provisions of
GB/T 17505.
9.4.2 If the steel sheet and steel strip are unqualified in the initial inspection, it shall
randomly take double quantity of specimens from the same batch, for re-inspection of
the unqualified item. If the re-inspection results (including all the indicators required
by the item test) are qualified, the whole batch is qualified. The re-inspection results
(including all the indicators required by the item test) are unqualified, even if one of the
indicators fails the re-inspection. If the re-inspection fails, the single piece, that has been
tested and the test results are inconsistent, cannot be accepted; however, the single piece
of the batch of materials, that has not been tested, can be resubmitted for test and
acceptance, one by one.
10 Numerical rounding rules
The test results of chemical composition and mechanical properties shall be rounded,
according to the rounding value comparison method. The rounding rules shall be in
accordance with the provisions of GB/T 8170.
11 Packaging, marking, quality certificate (or inspection
document)
11.1 The packaging, marking, quality certificate of steel sheets and strips shall comply
with the requirements of Q/BB 300.If the buyer has special requirements for packaging,
it can be negotiated when ordering.
11.2 Under normal circumstances, the supplier only provides the quality certificate of
the supplied products.
11.3 If the buyer requires inspection documents, the supplier shall provide the statement
"Type 2.1" of compliance with the order, or the inspection report "Type 2.2", or the
inspection certificate "Type 3.1", in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 18253-
2018; OR provide inspection documents, in accordance with EN 10204 (see Appendix
D).
11.4 When the buyer has special requirements for the type of quality certificate or
inspection document, it can be negotiated when ordering AND indicated in the contract
or order.
