Handbag and knapsack
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods,
inspection rules, marks, packaging, transport and storage for handbag and
knapsack.
This Standard is applicable to various daily handbag and knapsack. The
handbag and knapsack with particular use shall refer to this Standard.

3 Product classification
3.1 Classification according to variety (top layer material).
- leather handbag and knapsack;
- artificial leather/synthetic leather handbag and knapsack;
- recycled leather handbag and knapsack;
- fabric handbag and knapsack;
- fur handbag and knapsack;
- handbag and knapsack with various materials as top layer.
3.2 Classification according to type (structure).

NOTE. Specified load does not include the weight of the bag body.
5.3.1.3 Oscillation impact
According to the load specified in Table 5, the load is evenly placed in the case
(bag). Test the strap, carrying handle, side carrying strap in the order of QB/T
2922. The numbers of oscillation impact are as follows. 400 times respectively
for double straps, double-carrying handle; 250 times respectively for single-
strap, single-carrying-handle; 150 times for side carrying strap.
The carrying handle (strap) with a total length of less than 120 mm does not
check the oscillation impact performance. Simple stacking package does not
check oscillation impact performance.
Perform test according to the followings.
- when testing the strap, adjust the strap to the maximum length;
- when testing double straps and double handles, two straps or two handles
shall be fixed on the special fixture of the bag oscillation impact tester at
the same time;
- when the replacement kit is attached to the handbag and knapsack, select
the longest part to test;
- when the handbag and knapsack has components that can be changed in
use (for example, the same component can be used as a single strap and
a double strap or a double handle), and the test shall be performed in such
a manner that the maximum load and the number of oscillation shocks are
specified;
- when the suture parts of double straps and the single handle of the handbag
and knapsack are overlapped, the single handle shall not check the item;
- if the handbag and knapsack is in the form of dual bag in bag, the attached
bag has a completely independent structure, components (with handles
and/or straps), function, and can be used as a back bag alone, the
oscillation impact inspection shall be performed.
NOTE 1. Double straps and double handles refer to the same components in the corresponding
symmetrical part of the product.
NOTE 2. The total length of the handle (strap) refers to the length of the outline of the uncovered
portion of the handle (strap).
5.3.2 Lock durability
5.3.7 Color fastness to rubbing
Test according to the followings.
- top layer material. sampling on the large side of the handbag and knapsack
and on the cover to check the color fastness; when the front large surface,
the rear large surface, and the cover are the same material (the materials,
colors, and styles are the same), the large surface shall be sampled and
tested; when the front large surface, the rear large surface, and the cover
are made of different materials, they shall be sampled and tested
separately; when the front large face and the cover are the same material,
the front large face or cover shall be sampled and tested;
- lining. sampling from the main material in the bag, only testing the dry
wiping.
Leather, recycled leather, artificial leather/synthetic leather fabrics are
inspected according to QB/T 2537. The mass of glossy leather test head is 1000
g, the suede test head is 500 g. Dry wiping 50 times, wet wiping 10 times. Fur
fabrics are inspected according to QB/T 2790. Fabric and uncoated microfiber
material are according to QB/T 3920. Take 1 set of samples for inspection, in
which uncoated microfiber material uses rectangular friction head.
Samples for measuring the thickness of the surface coating shall be measured
according to GB/T 22889.
5.3.8 Corrosion resistance of hardware accessories
Inspect according to QB/T 3826 (excluding pull rod, riveting parts, metal
fasteners). The zipper head only detects the pull tab, and the test time is 16 h.
5.3.9 Strap folding resistance
Inspect according to QB/T 5246. Test 500 times.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Batching
An inspection lot consists of the products of the same variety, of the same
specification, in the same production process.
6.2 Exit-factory inspection
Each batch of products shall be inspected one by one before leaving the factory,
and may leave factory after being tes...
