Stainless utensils - Cups 
1 Subject content and scope 
This standard specifies stainless cup’s product classification, technical requirements,
test method, inspection rules, as well as marking, packing, transportation and storage
requirements.
This standard applies to ordinary cup formed by stainless steel plate stamping. Other
related parts of stainless cup, such as body and cover may also refer to this standard.

3 Terms, symbols and codes 
3.1 The terms shall comply with the provisions of QB/T 1622.1.
3.2 The symbols, codes shall comply with Chapter 4 provisions of QB/T 1622.2.
5.4.2 Grade determination
a. Superior product. There is no more than 1 Unqualified Type C;
b. First-class product. There are no more than 2 Unqualified Type C;
c. Qualified product. There are no more than 1 Unqualified Type B and 1
Unqualified Type C, or 3 Unqualified Type C.
6 Test method 
6.1 Specification
6.1.1 Use measuring glass or measuring cylinder to measure the capacity. The value
shall comply with the provision 4.2.
6.1.2 Use straight steel ruler or vernier caliper to measure the caliber. The value shall
comply with the provision 4.2.
6.2 Use performance
PLACE a weight which is 2 times as weight as the water of the cup INTO the cup. Use
handle to lift up horizontally to not-less-than 0.8m. Still-maintain for 10min. Then take
out the weight to perform full-water test for 10min. The result shall comply with
provision 5.1.
6.3 Product quality requirements
6.3.1 Use measuring glass or measuring cylinder to measure folds, pits, and deflating.
The value shall comply with the provision 5.4.1.
6.3.2 Use steel tap or feeler gauge to measure scratches. The value shall comply with
the provision 5.4.1.
6.3.3 Inspect the roughness of polished surface and sanding surface according to GB
6062 and GB 6060.4. The result shall comply with provision 5.4.1.
6.3.4 Use visual method, hand-touching method and feeler gauge to measure the
edges. The result shall comply with provision 5.4.1.
6.3.5 Use visual method, hand-touching method to measure point welding, decorative
patterns and identification marking. The result shall comply with provision 5.4.1.
8 Symbol, package, transportation and storage 
It shall comply with the provisions of QB/T 1622.4.

This standard was proposed by Quality Standard Department of Light Industry
Ministry.
This standard shall be centralized by National Center of Daily Hardware for
Standardization.
