Bath Bomb
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test
methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation, storage and
shelf life of bath bombs produced by this corporation.
This Standard is applicable to bath bomb products, which are regular or irregular
spherical objects with a certain hardness and processed and produced with salt as the
main raw material, and appropriate amounts of water and other auxiliary ingredients
and additives.

4.3 Net Content
Net content shall comply with the stipulations of Measures for the Supervision and
Management of Quantitative Packaging Commodities.
4.4 Packaging Appearance
Packaging appearance shall comply with the requirements of approval samples by the
customer.
5 Test Methods
5.1 Sensory Indicators
5.1.1 Appearance, color and luster
Take a test specimen. At room temperature and under non-direct sunlight, conduct
visual observation.
5.1.2 Aroma
Take a test specimen. Use olfactory sensation for identification.
5.2 Physical and Chemical Indicators
5.2.1 pH
In accordance with the methods specified in Safety and Technical Standards for
Cosmetics, conduct the test.
5.2.2 Heat resistance
Take two bottles of fully packaged specimens. Place one bottle in a constant-
temperature incubator at (40 ± 1) °C; store the other bottle at room temperature as a
standard specimen. After 24 h, take out the heat-resistant specimen; return it to room
temperature, then, observe it together with the standard specimen stored at room
temperature.
5.2.2 Cold resistance [Translator: 5.2.3]
Take two bottles of fully packaged specimens. Place one bottle in a constant-
temperature incubator at (-8 ± 2) °C; store the other bottle at room temperature as a
standard specimen. After 24 h, take out the cold-resistant specimen; return it to room
