Steel ruler: The minimum scale is 0.5 mm (for measuring stitching distance), 1
mm. Steel tape measure: The minimum scale is 1 mm.
4.1.2 Test bench
The length, width, height are appropriate. The surface of bench is flat. The
sample can be flattened on the bench.

(except for thick-thin parts and embroidery parts).
4.6 Other items
A single product that does not meet the requirements specified in this standard
constitutes a defect. According to the product's non-compliance with the
standard and the impact on the product's performance and appearance, the
defects are divided into three categories:
a) Minor defects: The defects which have slight non-compliance with the
standard, but does not affect the use performance of the product, and a
small impact onto the appearance of products are called minor defects;
b) General defects: The defects which have serious non-compliance with the
standard, but does not affect the use performance of the product, and a
small impact onto the appearance of products are called general defects;
c) Severe defects: The defects which seriously reduce and impact the basic
use function and seriously affect the appearance of products are called
severe defects.
5.5.2 Basis for determination of defects
Determined by degree of defects:
a) Minor defects: The defects in the quantitative indicators that exceed
(inclusive) 50% of the standard value; the defects in the qualitative
indicators which have slight non-conformances;
b) General defects: The defects in the quantitative indicators that exceed 50%
but are within 100% (inclusive) of the standard value; the defects in the
qualitative indicators which have serious non-conformances; those
defects whose representation of model and sign fail to comply with the
provisions of national standard;
c) Severe defects: The defects in the quantitative indicators that exceed 100%
(inclusive) of the standard value; the defects which fail to comply with the
provisions of mandatory standards; the content of decomposed harmful
aromatic amine dyes and the free formaldehyde content exceeds the
standard; the hair loss is serious; it is severely discolored; it has serious
dying defects and is greasy; it has serious odor; it is damaged, has ironing
damage, serious large-area damage, cutting damage which exceeds 1/2
of the thickness; the adhesive lining part is seriously failed; the leather
(double-face leather) surface has fracture, crack, pulp-loss; the finished
product has broken thread of more than 15 mm; the zipper is damaged,
all of which are severe defects.
Note: Quantitative indicators are indicators as specified by values in the
standard.
5.6 Qualification judgment
(small amount, decorative, auxiliary material may not be marked), qualification
(inspection) mark.
- For the main fur material, it shall indicate the animal type (large category
may be indicated), such as woolfell, rabbit fur, fox fur, etc.;
- For the spliced products, it shall indicate the main material;
- The main lining textile material shall be marked with the main fiber
component (single fiber content exceeding 10%);
- Small quantities of decorative leather, double-face leather, textiles may be
marked as “leather”, “double-face leather”, “textile”;
- Special craftsmanship and special style should be clearly stated;
