1 Subject Contents and Applicable Scope
This Standard specifies the shape, dimension, position and strength requirements for
motor vehicles and trailers.
This Standard is applicable to the Category-M, Category-N and Category-O vehicles.

3 Terms and Definitions
3.1 License plate
The plate directly installed the license.
3.2 License bracket
The position installed on the vehicle for mounting the license.
4 Shape and Dimension of License Plate
The license plate can be a rectangular flat plate (it can be a curved surface when
meeting the requirements for the installation of license plate). The overall size of
license plate and license installing hole size of license plate (bracket) can be
determined as per GA 36.
