Packaging recycle mark
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the category, name, size and color, etc. of the mark of the reusable
packaging and the recyclable packaging.
This standard is applicable to all kinds of reusable and recyclable packaging materials
(excluding dangerous goods).
2 Normative references
The following Standards contain the provisions which, through reference in this Standard,
constitute the provisions of this Standard. At the time of publication, the editions indicated
are valid. All standards are subject to revision. The parties who are using this Standard
shall explore the possibility of using the latest version of the following standards.

3 Definitions
3.1 Product classification
This Standard adopts the following definitions.
The definitions listed in GB/T 16716 are applicable to this Standard.
Green point mark
The green package’s environmental protection mark for which the packaging producers
have paid the packaging handling charges.
4 Mark’s graphics, name and material code
4.1 There are 4 kinds of graphics and names for the mark in total; see Table 1.
6 Location and quantity of mark
6.1 Location of mark
The marking position shall be set at the location which is convenient to see by the
consumer; it shall not cover the interior product.
6.2 Quantity of the mark
Generally, it shall only set one mark on each package.
7 Use method of mark
7.1 The recycling mark shall be selected correctly according to the packaging materials.
7.2 The marking of the mark shall adopt the methods of printing, pasting and spraying, etc.
7.3 The mark shall be clear, and it shall guarantee that it will not fall off during the recovery-
period.
7.4 See Appendix A for the packaging recycling marking method used for plastic packaging
material and container.
7.5 See Appendix B for the not-recoverable packaging.
