The technical quality requirements and limit values of grape seed oil are consistent with the above international standards.
This standard is proposed by the State Administration of Grain.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Cereals and Oils Standardization.
The organization responsible for drafting this standard is the National Grain Administration Scientific Research Institute.
The organizations participating in the drafting of this standard include Shandong Yuanwang Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Henan University of Technology, and Yunnan Cereals and Oils Research Institute.

3.Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
4.Quality and hygiene requirements
4.1 Characteristic indicators
4.1.1 Refractive index (n40). 1.467~1.477.
4.1.3 Iodine value (I). 128 g/100 g ~ 150 g/100 g.
4.1.4 Saponification value (KOH). 188 mg/g ~ 194 mg/g.
4.1.5 Unsaponifiable matter. ≤20g/kg.
4.1.6 Fatty acid composition is shown in Table 1.
4.1.7 Total sterol content..2000 mg/kg ~ 7000 mg/kg.
4.1.8 The contents of various sterol components (mass fraction of total sterols) are shown in Table 2.
4.2 Quality indicators
4.3 Hygiene requirements
It shall be implemented in accordance with GB 2716 and relevant national standards and regulations.
4.4 Restrictions on the use of additives
No flavors or fragrances may be added.
4.5 Authenticity requirements
Grapeseed oil must not be mixed with other edible oils or non-edible oils.
5.Inspection methods
5.1 Sampling and sub-sampling. in accordance with GB/T 5524.
5.2 Transparency, odor and taste test. in accordance with GB/T 5525.
5.3 Color inspection. in accordance with GB/T 5009.37.
5.4 Relative density. in accordance with GB/T 5526.
5.5 Refractive index. in accordance with GB/T 5527.
5.6 Water and volatile matter test. in accordance with GB/T 5528.
5.7 Insoluble impurities test. according to GB/T 15688.
5.8 Acid value test. carried out in accordance with GB/T 5530.
5.9 Iodine value test. carried out in accordance with GB/T 5532.
5.10 Soap content test. carried out in accordance with AOCSCC 17-95 (97).
5.11 Saponification value test. carried out in accordance with GB/T 5534.
5.12 Test for unsaponifiable matter. according to GB/T 5535.1 or GB/T 5535.2.
5.13 Peroxide value test. carried out in accordance with GB/T 5538.
5.14 Test for residual solvent. in accordance with GB/T 5009.37.
5.15 Fatty acid composition test. according to GB/T 17376 and GB/T 17377.
5.16 Test for sterol content. in accordance with ISO 12228.1999.
5.17 Test for copper content. in accordance with GB/T 5009.13.
5.18 Test for iron content. in accordance with GB/T 5009.90.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 General rules for inspection
It shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T 5490.
6.2 Factory inspection
Except for iron and copper items, the items specified in 4.2 shall be inspected.
6.3 Type inspection
6.3.1 When there are major changes in raw materials, equipment or processes, type inspection should be carried out.
6.3.2 Inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 4.
6.4 Decision rules
6.4.1 If the product quality grade is not marked, it shall be deemed as unqualified.
6.4.2 If any one of the grade indicators of a product fails to meet the standards, it shall be judged as an unqualified product.
7.Label identification
7.1 It shall comply with the requirements of GB 7718.
7.2 The country of production of the product’s raw materials should be indicated.
8 Packaging, storage and transportation
8.1 Packaging
It should comply with GB/T 17374 and relevant national regulations and requirements.
8.2 Storage
It should be stored in a cool, dry and dark place. It should not be stored together with toxic or hazardous substances.
8.3 Transportation
Transportation vehicles and equipment should be kept clean and sanitary. Safety should be taken care of during transportation to prevent sun exposure, rain, leakage, contamination and label removal.
It must not be transported in the same vehicle with toxic and hazardous substances.

It shall be implemented in accordance with GB/T 5490.
6.2 Factory inspection
Except for iron and copper items, the items specified in 4.2 shall be inspected.
