Terminology of die casting unit
1 Scope
This standard defines the common terms and definitions of the functional devices and performance of high-pressure casting die-casting units.
This standard applies to high-pressure casting die-casting units.
2 Terms and definitions
2.1 Functional device
2.1.1 Basic terminology
2.1.1.1
Diecasting
The process in which molten metal is injected into the mold and kept under high pressure until it is completely solidified.
2.1.1.2
Diecastingmachine
A power machine that injects molten metal into a reusable mold through high pressure and high speed pressure.
2.1.1.3
Auxiliary equipment
Cooperate with the functional equipment of die-casting production.
Note. Auxiliary equipment includes. pouring device, picking and conveying device, spraying device, mold temperature control device, cleaning and repairing device, insert device, detection device, system installation
Full device, integrated control device, casting cooling device, vacuum device, etc.
2.1.1.4
Diecastingunit
A complete set of automated production equipment formed by a die-casting machine and auxiliary equipment.
see picture 1.
2.1.1.5
Casting
The molten metal is cast into a mold and solidified to obtain a metal part or part blank with a certain shape, size and performance.

It is used to store molten metal and has equipment for heat preservation, dosing and pouring.
2.1.2.3
Dosinganddeliveringmaterialdevice;autoladler
A device that quantitatively takes molten metal from the holding furnace and transports it to the injection chamber.
2.1.3 Pickup and transfer device
2.1.3.1
Extractor device; casting extractor
A machine that grabs die castings from the mold and transports them to a designated location before releasing them.
2.1.3.2
Pick-up fixture
A device installed at the end of the manipulator for grabbing die castings.
2.1.3.3
Conveyor
A device that transports die castings to a designated location.
2.1.4 Spraying device
2.1.4.1
Spray system
A system that proportions, atomizes, and sprays the die-casting release agent on the surface of the mold cavity in a fixed and quantitative manner.
2.1.4.2
Mixingcarrierforpartingagent
The release agent is mixed with water in a specific ratio and sent to the sprayer device.
2.1.4.3
Sprayhead
A device that disperses the release agent into tiny droplets through a nozzle or high-speed airflow.
2.1.5 Mold temperature control device
2.1.5.1
