4 Test methods
4.1 Chemical composition
Analysis on chemical composition of the sheet and strip shall be performed
according to GB/T 5121 (all parts) or YS/T 482 or YS/T 483. In arbitration, it
shall be carried out according to provisions of GB/T 5121 (all parts).
4.2 Dimensions and allowable deviation
Dimensions and allowable deviation testing of the sheet and strip shall be in
accordance with GB/T 26303.3.
4.3 Mechanical properties
Tensile test at room temperature of the sheet and strip shall be performed
according to provisions of GB/T 34505-2017. Sample numbers are P01, P02,
P03 in Table 3 of GB/T 34505-2017. Vickers hardness test is carried out
according to provisions of GB/T 4340.1.
4.4 Bending performance
Bending test of the sheet and strip is performed according to GB/T 232.
4.5 Surface quality
Surface quality of the sheet and strip is inspected visually.
5 Inspection rules
5.1 Check and acceptance
5.1.1 Product shall be inspected by supplier to ensure product quality complies
with provisions of this Standard. Supplier fills in quality certificate.
5.1.2 Purchaser shall inspect products received according to provisions of this
Standard. If inspection results fail to meet requirements of this Standard and
order sheet (or contract), it shall be proposed in written form to supplier and
shall be solved by supplier and purchaser via negotiation. Objections to surface
quality and size deviation shall be submitted within one month after products
are received. Objections to other quality problems shall be submitted within
three months after products are received. If arbitration is required, sampling for
arbitration shall be performed by supplier and purchaser together.
5.2 Batching
Bending performance
Take any 2 pieces (rolls) from
each batch. Take 1 sample
along with rolling direction for
each piece (roll).
3.5 4.4
Surface quality Piece by piece (roll by roll) 3.6 4.5
5.5 Determination of inspection results
5.5.1 Values of inspection results shall be rounded off according to provisions
of GB/T 8170. Use rounded-off value comparison method to determine.
5.5.2 When chemical composition fails, this batch of products shall be rejected.
5.5.3 When dimensions, allowable deviation and surface quality fail, this piece
(roll) shall be rejected.
5.5.4 When there is a sample in test results of mechanical properties, bending
properties fail, it shall take samples double quantity from this batch of products
(including products failed in previous inspection) to repeat rest. If re-test results
meet requirements, this batch of products shall be accepted. If re-test results
still fail, this batch of products shall be rejected or it is inspected piece by piece
(roll by roll) by supplier. Only accepted products are delivered.
6 Marks, packaging, transport, storage and quality
certificate
Product’s marks, packaging, transport, storage and quality certificate shall
comply with provisions of GB/T 8888.
