--- Part 1: Overview and classification;
--- Part 2: Graphical Symbols
This standard (this part) is Part 2 of GB/T 5465, and it is identical to IEC 60417 DB (January
2007) Graphical Symbols for Use on Electrical Equipment (English edition).
This Part replaces GB/T 5465.2-1996 Graphical Symbols for Use on Electrical Equipment.
This Part refers to 904 symbols, and the difference between this Part and GB/T 5465.2-1996 are:
--- Add 434 new symbols;
--- Cancel 2 symbols;
--- Regulate the numbers of 15 symbols.
GB/T 5465 is one of national standard series covering Graphical Symbols for Use on Electrical
Equipment and its basic principles. The planned structures of these standards, international
standards corresponding to them and the national standard that will be replaced are listed below:
a) GB/T 5465 Graphical Symbols for Use on Electrical Equipment
--- Part 1: Overview and classification;
--- Part 2: graphic symbol (IEC 60417 DB; replace GB/T 5465.2-1996)
b) Basic principles for graphical symbols for use on electrical equipment
--- Part 1: Creation of symbol originals (IEC 80416-1; replace GB/T 5465.1-1985, GB/T
5465.1-1996 and GB/T 5465.11-2007);
--- Part 2: Form and use of arrows;
--- Part 3: Guidelines for the application of graphical symbols (IEC 80416-3);
