GB/T 6173 is "(part) hex nut" national standards one of the series, the series includes.
--- GB/T 411 type hexagon nuts C grade;
--- GB/T 61701 type hexagon nuts;
--- GB/T 61711 type hexagon nuts with fine pitch thread;
--- GB/T 6172.1 Hexagon thin nuts;
--- GB/T 6173 Hexagon thin nuts with fine pitch thread;
--- GB/T 6174 Hexagon thin nut without chamfer;
--- GB/T 61752 type hexagon nuts;
--- GB/T 61762 type hexagon nuts fine teeth.
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 6173-2000 "hex nuts fine tooth thin" compared with GB/T 6173-2000, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Delete "For other technical requirements, (GB/T 3098.15 and GB/T 3103.1) Select." (Chapter 1 of the 2000 edition);
--- Reference standard unified thread GB/T 193, GB/T 9145 (Chapter 2);
--- Fillet amended as θ = 110 ° ~ 120 ° (Fig. 1);
--- To increase the mechanical properties of steel nuts. QT --- quenched and tempered (Table 3).
This standard uses redrafted law revision using ISO 8675.2012 "chamfer Hexagon thin nuts (Type 0) metric fine thread products

This standard and ISO 8675.2012 and its causes technical differences are as follows.

--- Normative reference document, instead of using our standards with international standards (Chapter 2), increase the reference GB/T 90.2 (Table 3),
GB/T 193 (Table 3), GB/T 5267.4 (Table 3), GB/T 9145 (Table 3) and GB/T 1237 (5.1), the deletion of ISO 724,
ISO 965-1 references to meet our basic standard fasteners;
--- Fillet amended as θ = 110 ° ~ 120 ° (Fig. 1), increases the effective screwing length;
--- For the implementation of basic standards, to increase the mechanical properties of steel nuts. QT --- quenched and tempered (Table 3);
--- Increase in packaging technology requirements (Table 3), to meet our basic standard fasteners;

Hexagon thin nuts with fine pitch thread
1 Scope
This standard specifies the fine pitch Hexagon thin nut type size, technical requirements and marking.
This standard applies to nominal thread diameter D = 8mm ~ 64mm, the performance rating of 04,05, A2-025, A2-035, A4-025, A4-
035, CU2, CU3 and AL4, product grade A and B grades, fine thread, chamfer Hexagon thin nuts. A class for D≤16mm
Nut; Class B for D> 16mm nut.
