3.3 Type inspection
3.3.1 The industrial robot that conducts the type inspection must be product that has
passed the exit-factory inspection; the number of testing shall be specified by the
product standard.
3.3.2 The type inspection shall be implemented by the quality inspection department
of the manufacturer, or by the superior responsible institution.
3.3.3 The type inspection items are as specified in Table 1.
3.3.4 When any an item does not meet the requirements or occurs failure in the
inspection, find out the cause; rework it; and re-inspect from such item. If certain item
occurs failure or does not meet the requirements again, after finding out the cause,
analysis report shall be proposed; after reworking, the type inspection for each item
shall be reconducted. If such item still does not meet the requirements in the re-
inspection, comprehensively analyze; take measures against such batch of products
wholly; and re-deliver them for type inspection.
The sample through the type inspection shall be marked.
3.3.5 After inspection, propose the type inspection report.
4 Inspection Items
4.1 The general items can refer to Table 1.
4.2 Reliability, other special items and parameter indexes shall be specified by the
product standard.
4.3 User’s acceptance item shall be specified by the product standard.
5 Test Methods
5.1 Environmental conditions of test
Unless otherwise specified in this Standard, all tests shall be carried out under the
following conditions:
Temperature: 5~40°C;
Relative humidity: 45%~75%;
Test procedure: draw the working space map according to the working space drawing
method (see GB/T 12644).
Take the frame coordinate system as a basis, test the coordinate value of each special
point (limit location point and inflection point) on the working space.
5.4.3 Maximum single-axis speed and rated speed
See GB/T 12645.
5.4.4 Pose characteristics
See GB/T 12642 and GB/T 12645.
5.4.5 Path characteristics
See GB/T 12642 and GB/T 12645.
5.4.6 Minimum positioning pose time
See GB/T 12642 and GB/T 12645.
5.4.7 Static flexibility
See GB/T 12642 and GB/T 12645.
5.5 Electrical safety test
5.5.1 Continuity of protective grounding circuit
Test as per the requirements of GB/T 5226.1.
5.5.2 Insulation resistance test
Test as per the requirements of GB/T 5226.1, its results shall meet the requirements
of product standard.
5.5.3 Withstand voltage test
See GB/T 5226.1.
5.6 Continuous operation test
Conduct teaching programming on the industrial robot; it shall work normally and
continuously for 120h under the rated load state and actual work. If it occurs failure in
the operating period, after removing the faults, re-start the industrial robot; however,
the operating time shall be re-calculated.
As the continuous operating test is taken, test that the following items shall meet the
5.10.2.2 Lower limit storage temperature test
It shall be carried out as per “Test Ad” in GB/T 2423.1. Place the tested sample into
the low-temperature box, make the temperature within the box reduce to -40°C; store
for 4h. After 4h, make the temperature within the box gradually rise to the normal
atmospheric condition, restore for 4h under such condition; the temperature-rise time
shall not be included into the restoring time.
Check the appearance, which shall meet the requirements of the product standard;
then power on and operate, it shall work normally.
In order to prevent the icing and condensing of the tested sample in the test, the tested
sample is allowed to be sealed by the plastic film for test; if necessary, the water
absorber is allowed to be injected into the packet.
5.10.3 Upper limit temperature test
5.10.3.1 Upper limit working temperature test
It shall be carried out as per “Test Bb” in GB/T 2423.2. Place the tested sample into
the high-temperature box, make the temperature within the box increase to 40°C;
maintain at least 30min; then power on and operate for 4h, it shall work normally.
5.10.3.2 Upper limit storage temperature test
It shall be carried out as per “Test Bb” in GB/T 2423.2. Place the tested sample into
the high-temperature box, make the temperature within the box increase to 55°C; store
for 4h. After 4h, make the temperature within the box gradually decrease to the normal
atmospheric condition, restore for 4h under such condition; the temperature-drop time
shall not be included into the restoring time. Check the appearance, which shall meet
the requirements of the product standard; then power on and operate, it shall work
normally.
5.10.4 Constant damp and heat test
5.10.4.1 Constant damp and heat test under working condition
It shall be carried out as per “Test Ca” in GB/T 2423.3. Place the tested sample into
the damp-heat box; adjust the temperature at 40°C; then maintain at least 30min; inject
moisture; make the humidity reach 80% (40°C) within 1h; the above two items shall
not be included in the test time.
Test time is 48h; power on and operate during this period, it shall work normally.
5.10.4.2 Constant damp and heat test under storage condition
It shall be carried out as per “Test Ca” in GB/T 2423.3. Place the tested sample into
