Bath agents and shower agents
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and, product classification and marking,
requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transport,
storage and shelf life of bath agents and shower agents.
This standard applies to cleansing products formulated with surfactants and
conditioning agents for cleansing and moisturizing the skin (except soap).

The following documents are essential to the application of this document. For

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1

Block products: Observe it in indirect light conditions.
6.2 Odor
Take an appropriate amount of specimen for identification by smelling.
6.3 Stability
Take two sets of specimens of not less than 100 mL. Respectively place it into
250 mL colorless wide-mouth glass bottle with stopper. Put one set in a (40 ±
2) °C incubator for 24 h. Take it out and restore it to room temperature to
observe it. Put the other set in a (-5 ± 2) °C refrigerator for 24 h. Take it out and
restore it to room temperature to observe it.
6.4 Total effective substance
Generally, make determination according to the method A as specified in
Chapter 7 of GB/T 13173-2008.
When the product contains the surfactant which is insoluble in ethanol, or in the
ordering contract it specifies that the testing results of total effective substance
content do not contain water cosolvent, meanwhile requires making
determination by the trichloro-methane extraction, it shall be determined
according to the method B in Chapter 7 of GB/T 13173-2008.
6.5 pH
Perform test according to the method as specified in WJDF [2007] No.1
"Hygienic Specifications for Cosmetics" (2007 edition).
The test temperature is 25 °C. Use the newly boiled and cooled distilled water
to prepare it. The mass concentration of the test solution of the liquid or paste
product is 10%; the solid product is 5%. Make determination after mixing it
uniformly.
6.6 Mercury, lead, arsenic, microorganisms
Perform test according to the method as specified in WJDF [2007] No.1
"Hygienic Specifications for Cosmetics" (2007 edition).
6.7 Net content
Perform test according to the provisions of JJF 1070.
