Foreword
This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard is a revision of QB/T 2155-2010 “Travelling case and Trolley bag”.
Compared with QB/T 2155-2010, in addition to the editorial modifications, the
main technical changes are as follows.
- modified and added references in “Normative references”;
- modified and added the content of “Product classification”;
- added the content of “Raw materials and accessories”;
- deleted the requirements for “superior products”;
- refined “case (bag) specified load”;
- modified the requirements and test methods for "walking performance"
"oscillation impact" "stitching strength" "performance of fabric rubbing
color fastness";
- modified “impact resistance” to “drop performance”, and modified the test
methods for “drop performance”;
- modified "hardness of the top layer of the aluminum mouth of the case" to
the "hardness of the aluminum mouth of the case" and refined the test
methods of "hardness of the aluminum mouth of the case";
- modified "case (bag) lock" to "case (bag) lock durability performance";

Travelling case and trolley bag
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test method,
inspection rules, marks, packaging, transport and storage for travelling case
(hard case, soft case) and trolley bag.
This Standard is applicable to travelling case and trolley bag with carrying
clothes, with walking wheels and pull rods.

3 Product classification
3.1 Classification according to variety.
- travelling hard case;
- travelling soft case;
- trolley bag.
4.2.3 Walking wheels
In accordance with QB/T 1586.2.
4.2.4 Carrying handle

4.3 Appearance quality
4.3.1 Case body (bag body)
The body is straight and the teeth are straight; the erect is stable, there is no
unevenness, or skewness.
4.3.2 Case top layer (bag top layer)
4.3.2.1 Soft case, trolley bag
The color of the top layer material is commensurate, the stitching area has no
obvious wrinkles, bow wrinkles, and the whole is neat and smudge-free. Leather,
recycled leather top layer material has no obvious disability, no cracking surface,
cracking. Artificial leather/synthetic leather top layer material has no obvious
embossing, marking. The main parts of the fabric top layer are free of warp,
weft breaking, yarn jumping, splitting and other defects. Minor parts can also
have a slight 2 defects.
4.3.2.2 Hard case
The case surface has no defects such as unevenness, cracks, deformation,
burns, scratches, etc. The overall is neat, no stains.
4.3.3 Case mouth
In close cooperation. The gap between the bottom of the mouthpiece and the
cover is not more than 2mm, and the gap of the joint box is not more than 3mm.

The numbers of oscillation impact are as follows.
- carrying handle. 400 times for soft case carrying handle, 300 for hard case
carrying handle, 300 for side carrying handle, 250 for trolley bag carrying
handle;
- pull rod. when specification of travelling case is ≤610 mm, 500 times for pull
rod; when specification of travelling case is >610 mm, 300 times for pull
rod, 300 for trolley bag pull rod; when testing pull rod, use the suction cup
(not releasing), move up and down at a constant speed;
- strap. 250 times for single strap, 400 times for double straps; when testing
strap, it shall adjust the strap to the maximum length.
