Case and Bag – Test Method for Shaking Impact
1 Scope
This Standard specifies test method for shaking impact of case and bag.
This Standard is applicable to various cases and bags of daily use.
2 Principle
The quality of carrying-handle, tie-bar and case and bag body is inspected by - lifting the
loaded case and bag with the carrying-handle or fully-pulled tie-bar; then drop them at
a certain speed and the loaded gravity within a specified travel; use the spring to
realize the shaking impact on the case and bag depending on the absorption and
release of the force.
3 Device
Shaking impact tester for case and bag shall include those parts specified in 3.1~3.4.
3.1 Metal support. ≥2000mm in height.
3.2 Impact device. capable of moving up and down, with the damping spring
constant of 17.54N/mm.
3.3 Control device. having adjustable test speed, capable of setting the impact tests
frequency and providing the automatic shutdown function in case of sample falling
midway.
3.4 Recording device. having automatic recording and memory function.
4 Sample Preparation
The sample shall be placed in such an environment at a temperature of 18°C~25°C
for at least 1h without bearing any load.
5 Test Methods
5.1 Add specified load into tested case and bag in accordance with those specified
in Table 1; load shall be distributed uniformly.
pulling and pushing the tie-bar, in N; the result is accurate to an integer place.
