This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of Technical 243 on Nonferrous Metals of
Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 243).
The drafting organizations of this Standard. Western Metal Materials Co., Ltd., Xi’an
Noble Rare Metal Materials Co., Ltd., Northwest Institute for Nonferrous Metal
Research.

of tantalum and tantalum alloy
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the designation and chemical composition requirements,
sampling and chemical composition analysis for wrought tantalum and tantalum alloy
products.
This Standard applies to all types of wrought tantalum and tantalum alloy products
(including cast ingots, sintering blanks, semi-finished products and finished products).
