Water resistance of medical protective clothing materials.
Impact penetration test method
1 Scope
This standard specifies the principles, operating procedures, results evaluation and experimental reports of the test method for water resistance impact penetration of medical protective clothing materials.
Report etc.
This standard applies to the evaluation of the water resistance of medical protective clothing materials with or without waterproof finishing.
This standard does not apply to medical protective clothing materials (hereinafter referred to as materials) that cannot be kept flat under tension.
2 Normative references
The following documents are essential for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this article
Pieces. For undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.
GB/T 6529 Standard atmosphere for textile humidity control and testing
GB/T 6682 Analytical laboratory water specifications and test methods
3 terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Water resistance
Material resistance to moisture and water penetration.
4 Principle
Spray a certain volume of water on the surface of the sample, and evaluate the resistance of the sample by weighing the change in mass before and after spraying the absorbent paper under the sample.
Water-based.
5 Instruments and materials
5.1 Impact water permeability tester
Impact water permeability tester is divided into type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ, type Ⅱ adds water stop baffle and water drop collection box. See the physical diagram of the tester
Figure 1 and Figure 2, the design parameters are shown in Figure 3.
5.2 absorbent paper
Thickness (0.71 ± 0.1) mm, Gram weight (370 ± 4.5) g/m2, Water absorption capacity (220 ± 30)%, Size (229 ± 10) mm × (152 ±
10) mm.
5.3 Experimental water
The temperature of the third-grade water in accordance with GB/T 6682 should be controlled at (27 ± 1) ℃.
5.4 Balance
The accuracy is 0.1g.
6 Test preparation
Cut at least three samples from the material, the sample size is (330 ± 10) mm × (178 ± 10) mm; when applicable, the length direction of the sample should be
For warp.
Before the test, the sample and the absorbent paper were subjected to temperature and humidity treatment according to the regulations in GB/T 6529. The processing conditions are relative humidity (65 ±
2)%, temperature (21 ± 1) ℃, treatment time at least 4h.
7 Operation steps
7.1 Use a spring clip with a chuck width of (152 ± 10) mm to clamp one end of the specimen on the top of the bevel of the tester, and use another
A spring with a weight of (0.45 ± 0.05) kg and a chuck width of (152 ± 10) mm was clamped at the free end of the sample.
7.2 Weigh the standard absorbent paper to the nearest 0.1g and insert it under the sample.
7.3 Adjust the position of the nozzle so that the center of the sample is (610 ± 10) mm below the center of the nozzle surface.
7.4 Inject (500 ± 10) mL of water (5.3) quickly and smoothly into the funnel of the tester, and continuously spray water on the sample. Pouring water
When in the funnel, do not generate vortex in the funnel, and the spraying time should be controlled within 50s.
7.5 After the entire spraying is completed (2s after the liquid flow stops), carefully pick up the sample, remove the absorbent paper below, and then quickly weigh it again
To 0.1g.
8 Results and evaluations
The water resistance test result of each sample is the increase in mass before and after the absorbent paper test, in grams (g). Water-resistant material
The result is the average of the test results of all samples.
When the test result or the average value of a single sample is greater than 5.0g, it can be expressed as 5.0g or> 5.0g in the test report.
9 Experiment report
The experiment report should include at least the following.
a) the number of this standard;
b) all necessary information to identify the test sample;
c) the number of test samples;
d) environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity during pretreatment and testing;
e) any deviation from the specific test procedures of this standard;
f) Test results.
